Only three days after the release of the previous snapshot, the Vivaldi developers are back with yet another snapshot build, this time fixing twenty-two more bugs reported by users.

According to the release announcement, Vivaldi Snapshot 1.0.377.10 is now available for download and testing for all supported operating systems (see download links at the end of the article), fixing more than 20 issues (details in the changelog below), which means that its development cycle continues at a rapid pace.

There should probably be more bugfix snapshot like this in the coming weeks, until the Vivaldi team decides to drop another Beta build or move the development cycle to the Release Candidate (RC) stage. At the moment, there's no ETA on the final release of the upcoming web browser.

"Well last time we impressed you with 50+ fixes. Today we have 22 more. Not bad for 3 days work," says Ruarí Ødegaard. " As you can see we are continuing with the rapid pace, so if you don't see your pet bug listed yet, give it a few days and we may have it covered. Thanks for the testing and feedback and enjoy your weekend!"

Vivaldi 1.0 coming in 2016

Yes, a first stable release of the Vivaldi web browser, version 1.0, should be released this year, with the main goal of "stealing" some of the Opera and Google Chrome users. We do hope that the Vivaldi devs will publish a release schedule soon because users are starting to wonder if there will be a "Vivaldi 1.0" or not.

In the meantime, you too can help test the upcoming web browser by installing the latest snapshot build and reporting bugs. Download Vivaldi Snapshot 1.0.377.10 for GNU/Linux, Mac OS X and Microsoft Windows operating systems right now from Softpedia. We kindly remind you that this is a pre-release version, not suitable for production use.
