Chinese smartphone manufacturer, OnePlus is set to reveal the new OnePlus 3 smartphone later this month, but leaked images seem to surface at a daily pace. Batches of images were leaked to Chinese website Weibo, but there’s no confirmation at this point that the design is final.

Images reveal a sleek design for the upcoming OnePlus 3, but it’s unsure if it’s the final one or the company will decide to make some adjustments to it. The phone seems to resemble the design of the HTC M7 or the previous OnePlus 2, launched in July 2015.

OnePlus 3 seems to be coming with a full metal body and a rather square camera sensor at the back, which contrasts with the sleek body. At the front, the phone is set to come with an oval physical home button that’s similar to that on some Meizu models. There’s no fingerprint sensor at the back, which would indicate that the sensor is embedded in the front-placed home button.

Leaked pictures also show the bottom of the OnePlus 3, clearly illustrating that it will come with a 3.5mm headphone jack and USB Type-C. The toggle switch is located on the side of the phone while volume control buttons should be placed on the opposite side.

OnePlus 3 is rumored to come with Snapdragon 820 CPU

It is said that OnePlus will incorporate a Snapdragon 820 processor inside the OnePlus 3 and launch two variants of the phone. The standard version might come with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage while the high-end one could have 6GB and 64GB of internal memory, with a 5.5-inch display and 1080p resolution.

Camera performance is rumored to reach 16MP with a large aperture in the back and 8MP in the front. Battery capacity could reach 3,500mAh and rumors point to the fact that it could come with Oppo’s low voltage 5V 4A charging support.

A few days ago, images of the retail box were leaked online, and considering the pace of these leaks, it won’t be long before more information surfaces. OnePlus is rumored to launch its latest smartphone on May 18, but there’s no official information yet.
