Huawei is apparently working on a new mid-range smartphone, as a device carrying the code number NCE-TL10 was recently spotted on TENAA. Some details about the phone have been revealed, together with images.

Huawei NCE-TL10 appears to run a 1.5-GHz octa-core processor with 3GB of RAM and just 16GB of internal memory, which can be expanded to 128GB using a microSD card, according to SlashLeaks. The listing also reveals that the new smartphone will have a 5-inch HD display with 720 x 1280 pixel resolution.

When it comes to rear camera capacity, the smartphone could have a 13MP sensor on the back with LED flash and a 5MP camera in the front. It could run Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box and measure 143.2 × 70.4 × 8.1mm, while its weight could reach 145 grams. It also has a fingerprint sensor located on the back panel.

4,000mAh battery for the upcoming mid-range smartphone

The new smartphone will draw power from a 4,000mAh battery and feature 4G LTE, WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity options. The phone appears to come in multiple color options, including Gold and White. Considering that it appeared on TENAA, the new Huawei phone should be launched soon in China and it remains to be seen if it will make its way to other markets as well.

Just recently, Huawei launched two new flagships during MWC 2017, the P10 and P10 Plus with a 5.1-inch Full HD display and 5.5-inch Quad HD screen, respectively.

The standard P10 features 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, while the P10 Plus comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of storage. The two smartphones run Android 7.0 Nougat with EMUI 5.1 on top and offer 3,200mAh and 3,750mAh batteries. The P10 Plus is the world’s first 4.5G LTE smartphone.
