14 DAY TRIAL // Samsung is expected to unveil its latest flagship smartphone in less than a week, while leaks about the Galaxy S8 and S8+ continue to surface online. The latest regard press shots showing several colors of the new phone, together with a new Samsung teaser.
The press shots were posted by Evan Blass, the same leakster who revealed clear renders portraying color options for the new Galaxy S8. The images show the new phone in Black Sky, Orchid Gray, and a new shade of gold with an unknown official name.
The leakster also revealed the Black Sky Galaxy S8 for the US market, showing that the phone will have the Samsung and Galaxy S8 monikers on the back. These aren’t the only colors in which the new flagship will be released, as there have been leaked images showing a Blue Coral color as well, among others.

Meanwhile, Samsung is going all out to build up hype around the new flagship, as the company released yet another teaser video in Korea. The 15-second clip was featured on a number of Korean ad portals and it shows one of the most important features on the upcoming phone, namely its iris recognition sensor.
But this won’t the only authentication option on the new Galaxy S8. The phone is expected to come with a fingerprint sensor, relocated from the ditched physical home button in the front to the back panel, next to the main camera.
The Galaxy S8 will have a 5.8-inch display, while the larger model might feature a display of 6.2 inches, and some believe that the position of the fingerprint sensor might be quite uncomfortable to some users. Lots of details are known about the new phone, including the fact that the Galaxy S8 will have a 3,000mAh battery, while the larger model will come with a 3,500mAh battery.
Samsung will reveal the two high-end smartphones during the Unpacked event, which is scheduled for March 29.
