A new set of updated live ISO images for the Fedora 25 operating system have been released recently by Ben Williams, Fedora Ambassador and founder of the Fedora Unity Project.

As usual, these new, updated Fedora 25 Live ISO images are available for all the officially supported Fedora Spins, including Fedora Workstation, Fedora KDE, Fedora Xfce, Fedora MATE/Compiz, Fedora Cinnamon, Fedora LXDE, and Fedora SoaS.

A Fedora 25 sources DVD ISO image is provided as well, but please note that these are made available only for 64-bit (x86_64) hardware architectures. The biggest new feature appears to be the inclusion of the recently released Linux 4.9.8 kernel.

"With this new build of F25 Updated Lives will save you 695M of updates after install on [Fedora] Workstation," said Ben Williams in his latest blog announcement. "As always the ISOs can be found at http://tinyurl.com/Live-respins2."

Designed for those who want to install/reinstall Fedora 25

The updated Fedora 25 Live ISOs are tagged with build number F25-20170210, which means that they also include all the security patches and software updates that have been released in the official Fedora 25 repositories until February 10, 2017.

As such, we can consider these the most up-to-date Live ISOs, which you can use to install or reinstall the Fedora 25 Linux operating system on your personal computer or other PCs, as they will save you up to 700MB of downloaded packages.

These are in no way designed for those who are running a healthy Fedora 25 system, no matter the desktop environment used. They can keep their installations up to date and secure by making sure all the available updates have been successfully installed.

Please note that these Fedora 25 ISO respins are built using Fedora Project's Livemedia Creator utility, which means that you can also use the tool to create your own Fedora Spins, with a set of packages that you want to have pre-installed.

Follow this in-depth tutorial if you want to build your own Fedora 25 Spins, and you can download the new F25-20170210 updated live ISO images right now using the link provided by Ben Williams above. Have fun!
