TCL recently unveiled the BlackBerry KEYone, the ultimate QWERTY smartphone that the Chinese company seems very proud of. However, BlackBerry fans will be pleased to know that at least one other smartphone will make its debut on the market in the coming weeks.

Previously leaked online as BBC100-1, the mid-range smartphone that should be released in Indonesia has just been caught in the wild. The handset will be launched in Indonesia by PT BB Merah Putih, the company that's now in charge of the distribution of BlackBerry-branded smartphones in this country.

Although we don't have a release date or a price for the mid-range smartphone, it's worth mentioning the BBC100-1 has already been certified in Indonesia, so PT BB Merah Putih shouldn't take too long to introduce the device.

Aside from the pictures obtained by CrackBerry, new details about the phone leaked as well. For starters, the BBC100-1 will offer dual-SIM support, as well as a generous 3,000 mAh battery, which could be removable judging by the phone's look shown in the pictures.

An unusual hardware configuration for a mid-range smartphone

Thanks to previous rumors, we've also learned the smartphone will be equipped with a decent Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor, coupled with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory.

The combination of a low-performance CPU and high amount of memory is a bit unusual, so take the information with a grain of salt.

Last but not least, the BBC100-1 will feature a 5.5-inch display with HD (720p) resolution. Unfortunately, there are no details about the phone's camera configuration, but we do know the single-lens shooter will feature LED flash.

The bad news is the unannounced BlackBerry-branded smartphone leaked today might not be released outside Indonesia. Obviously, we will know more once PT BB Merah Putih, the company that's supposed to launch the BBC100-1 in Indonesia, makes the phone official.
