Need for Speed developer Ghost Games confirms the many different visual customization mechanics possible in its racing experience, and some fresh screenshots depict some of the various vehicles that can be driven in the new title.

The upcoming Need for Speed reboots the whole experience by going back to its more successful roots seen in iterations like NFS Underground, for example. By bringing back the emphasis on tuning, nighttime racing, and running away from the cops, the title is looking quite interesting.

Developer Ghost Games and publisher Electronic Arts have shared plenty of details, gameplay videos, and screenshots in recent months, and now, as we get closer to the game's launch in November, new information has just arrived.

Lots of car elements can be customized visually

On the official website, the studio confirms that a huge amount of a car's elements can be visually customized in the new Need for Speed, from the tires, brake calipers and discs, or rims, to rim size or the paint job.

For the front of the car, players can modify the stance, the ride height, the rake, the track width, or the camber. Of course, the hood can also be tweaked and customized with elements like carbon fiber. The bumper, the canards, the headlights, splitter, fenders, windscreen, or wing mirrors can, of course, be personalized by players as well.

For the rear of a car, fans can tinker with the spoiler, the sound system, the trunk, the bumper, fenders, and canards, not to mention the exhaust, diffuser, taillights, or license plate.

Those who find the wealth of customization options overwhelming can choose from pre-made bodykits created in collaboration with real-life aftermarket firms like Rocket Bunny and Liberty Walk.

In order to portray the different visual customization possibilities available in Need for Speed, not to mention some of the vehicles already confirmed for it, a huge amount of screenshots have been released and can be viewed in the gallery below.
