Donald Trump is running for President of the United States in the 2016 elections and he’s already announced some of his plans for when he gets the mandate. A priority is having Mexico build a wall to keep immigrants from coming to the US, as they’re all drug dealers, thieves and rapists.

As was to be expected, these comments didn’t exactly elicit the warm response Trump was probably counting on. Now, NBC too is severing all ties with him, dropping his beauty pageants and even firing him from the show that helped him transition from real estate mogul to TV personality, The Apprentice.

Don’t think that The Donald is going down without a fight, though.

NBC is done with Trump

As Christian Bale put it in that infamous, profanity-laden rant on the set of “Terminator: Salvation,” when a PA “dared” to walk through his scene, NBC has this for Trump: “We’re [expletive]ing done… professionally!”

In a statement to the press, the network says that it can’t tolerate to continue working with a man who espouses such disrespectful ideas as those made public shortly after the Presidential announcement. “Respect and dignity for all people are cornerstones of our values,” they add, so they have chosen to remove Trump from their list of partners.

What this means is that Trump won’t be doing The Apprentice anymore, which he hosted for many successful seasons. In a press conference (video below) after the NBC announcement, Trump initially tried to make it sound as if the network was using the offensive comments as an excuse for a decision they had already made.

The real reason he was out of The Apprentice, he said, was that he was running for President, which made shooting for the show an impossibility.

He didn’t say a peep about the other deals he’d just lost. When NBC severed ties with him, they also dumped the Miss USA and Miss Universe Pageants. NBC and Trump co-owned the beauty pageants, and they aired exclusively on the network.

That will no longer be the case.

Donald Trump is ready for a fight

Initially, Trump’s response was a reserved one, all things considered. As you can see in the video below, he even said that he was OK with whatever NBC had decided, because he had bigger fish to fry than doing reality shows.

However, on second consideration, The Donald decided he wasn’t happy with the way the network had dumped him like a sack of potatoes, so he’s threatening to sue them for breach of contract.

He’s also calling them names in the process, because that’s what Donald Trump does best when he’s angry.

“If NBC is so weak and so foolish to not understand the serious illegal immigration problem in the United States, coupled with the horrendous and unfair trade deals we are making with Mexico, then their contract violating closure of Miss Universe/Miss USA will be determined in court,” he says.

“Furthermore, they will stand behind lying Brian Williams, but won’t stand behind people that tell it like it is, as unpleasant as that may be,” Trump continues.

Williams, a famous NBC anchor, is still suspended after it was revealed that he lied in many of his most popular cover stories, making himself look braver by aggravating the circumstances in which they happened.

Trump believes he deserved better than the deal he’s getting.
