One of the best deals of the day is T-Mobile's offer for the myTouch 4G smartphone. The device is now available free for all new customers upon signing a two-year agreement, as well as for existing customers who add a new line to their account. Unfortunately, the deal is not available for those who wish to upgrade, as they are still required to pay the phone's $199.99 price after the usual mail-in-rebate discount.

Customers are provided with four available color schemes: Black, White, Red and Plum.

In addition, T-Mobile offers free shipping on all phones, so potential customers would get the myTouch 4G without paying a dime.

The carrier hasn't disclosed any information regarding the deal's timeline, so those who were keeping an eye out for the myTouch 4G should hurry, as there's no telling how long the offer will last.

For the non-tech savvy, myTouch 4G is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8255 1 GHz processor and runs Android 2.2 platform out-of-the-box.

As one of the heaviest smartphones of the myTouch family, the device weighs 141.8g (including battery); it also measures 121.9 x 55.9 x 10.9 mm.

It comes with a generous 3.8-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen with 16 million colors support, 480 x 800 pixels resolution, accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate and Swype input method.

The device embeds a custom UI which seems to be a combination between HTC Sense and the myTouch skin that is included with the myTouch Slide smartphone.

Also known as myTouch HD, the smartphone sports a 5-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus and LED flash, as well as secondary VGA front facing camera for video calling.

The 4G-enabled handset is fully packed with connectivity features such as HSDPA 14.4 Mbps, HSUPA 5.76 Mbps, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n DLNA, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP support, GPS with A-GPS support.
