Made available for purchase on Wednesday at T-Mobile USA, the HSPA+-enabled Android-based myTouch 4G smartphone is now on sale at various retailers in the country, featuring much lower price tags than what the carrier asks for it.

Users interested in getting their hands in the new T-Mobile myTouch 4G for T-Mobile will find it available in Black at Wirefly and Target Mobile Store for only $79.99, or in red at Radio Shack for $149.99.

Of course, these price tags are available as long as users commit to a two-year contract agreement with the wireless carrier, but they do sound pretty appealing, one should agree.

In case there are some who would rather have the device purchase from T-Mobile themselves, they would have to get $199.99 out of their pockets to get it, with a two-year contract agreement included into the mix, and with a $50.00 mail-in rebate.

Running under Google's Android operating system, the new device, comes with support for the wireless carrier's HSPA+ network, which is currently available in a number of 75 markets in the United States.

According to the wireless services provider, its network can offer transfer speeds faster than those of 4G networks in the country. Thus, it decided to market its networks as 4G.

One of the first video commercial it aired in this direction tout the capabilities of T-Mobile's HSPA+ network against AT&T's slower 3G airwaves.

As one can easily imagine, the main character in the video commercial was the T-Mobile myTouch 4G, which is said to offer far better performance on T-Mobile's network that the iPhone can offer on AT&T's.

The new smartphone comes with a large touchscreen display, complemented by a QWERTY keyboard in a sliding form factor, and appealing connectivity capabilities, including Wi-Fi and Blutooth (Wi-Fi calling included in the mix).

With great multimedia features and enough storage space for those interested in carrying photos, videos, music and more around, the handsets seems to be a nice option for any user out there.
