Mozilla has just released a very important update for its Android browser, which brings many new features and improvements into the mix.

Firefox 43 has been launched recently on Google Play Store, and thanks to the latest improvements, it becomes a little bit better so it might be worth another look.

If you're not a Google addict that needs deep integration with Chrome and other apps and services belonging to the search giant, the latest version of Firefox for Android is definitely worth a try.

First of all, Firefox 43 will allow users to mark read and unread state of items in reading list panel. Also, developers added new tab audio indicator displays in tab list.

The official changelog mentions that there's a new split-pane styling for History panel on tablets in landscape mode. Many accessibility improvements for scrolling have been implemented as well, such as zooming, braille, and context menus in Talkback screen reader.

Some changes are noticeable at first glance

Mozilla also confirms it has updated the toolbar menu to match latest Android UI designs. On the same note, developers improved API support for m4v video playback.

Another important new feature implemented in this update is the ability to include URLs when sharing selected text from a webpage.

Last but not least, various bug fixes come with the new update, so if you've been using previous versions of Firefox, then you will be pleased to know that many issues have been addressed in this build.

Keep in mind that some of these changes will be obvious at a first glance while others will be noticeable after some time spent using the browser.

If you don't have the application yet, you can now download Firefox 43 for Android for free via Google Play store. The application should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 4.0 and up.
