Rumors about Motorola's upcoming lineup of Android smartphones date from more than a month ago, and from the leaked information, we know the US-based company will launched several devices by fall.

Between the Moto X (2015), Moto E (2015) and Moto G (2015), Motorola is also expected to release some high-end Android smartphones in the United States, which will most likely be exclusive to Verizon.

News about the so-called Motorola XT1585 Kinzie emerged for the first time last month, along with details on some other unannounced smartphone nicknamed “Clark.”

However, fast forward a few weeks and the Motorola XT1578 Clark seems to have been removed from Motorola's roadmap for 2015.

The prototype spotted a couple of weeks ago might have not corresponded with the company's high-quality standards or perhaps Motorola thought a device with such hardware configuration might not be competitive enough in the US market.

The good news is we still have the Motorola XT1585 Kinzie, which has just been listed at GFXBench, along with its specifications.

There's no mention of microSD card slot for now

The benchmark listing confirms Motorola's upcoming high-end smartphone will sport a 5.5-inch Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution display with at least 5-finger gesture support.

In addition, the smartphone will be powered by a 64-bit 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor and an Adreno 430 graphics processing unit.

The Kinzie will pack 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory, but only 21GB user available. There's no mention of microSD card slot yet, so we will have to wait for more info on this one.

On the back, the smartphone is said to pack a 20-megapixel camera with autofocus, LED flash and 4K video recording, while in the front there will be a 5-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.

We also know Motorola XT1585 Kinzie will ship with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system right out of the box, which is Google's latest version of the mobile platform.

As mentioned earlier, the Kinzie is expected to make its debut this summer in the United States, but it will only be available at Verizon Wireless.
