All four smartphones are powered by Google's Android OS

Motorola unveiled today four new mid-range smartphones, the Moto G6, Moto G6 Play, Moto E5 Plus, and Moto E5 Play, all powered by Google's Android mobile operating system.

Motorola's 2018 mid-range lineup will be available this spring and consists of the Moto G6, Moto G6 Play, Moto E5 Plus, and Moto E5 Play smartphones, which come in multiple configurations and offers various designs. They're all powered by the Android 8.0 Oreo operating system and are so affordable that anyone will be able to buy at least one of them.

With the new Moto G6 and Moto E5 family of Android smartphones, the company wanted to address many of the shortcomings of last year'ss models by adding modern mobile technologies like Face Unlock, and finally bringing both the Moto G and Moto E series in line with the latest mobile industry trends.

Probably the most expensive of them all with a price tag of $249 USD, the 2018 Moto G6 is sporting a 5.7-inch Gorilla Glass 3 LCD display with 2160x1080 pixels resolution, a 1.8Ghz Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 Cortex A53 chip, an Adreno 506 GPU, 3GB or 4GB RAM, 32GB or 64GB internal storage, and a 3000Ah battery.

If you want a cheaper variant of the new Moto G6, you can buy the Moto G6 Play at only $199 USD, though the device features a 5.7-inch LCD screen with 1440x720 pixels resolution, a 1.4GHz Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 427 Cortex A53 chip, and Adreno 308 GPU, 2GB or 3GB RAM, 16GB or 32GB internal storage, and a huge, long-lasting 4000Ah battery.

On the other hand, the Moto E5 Plus smartphone offers a 6-inch LCD display with a small 1440x720 pixel resolution, a 1.4GHz Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 Cortex A53 chip, and Adreno 505 GPU, 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, and an even bigger 5000Ah battery that should last for days on a single charge.

Lastly, the Moto E5 Play phone is the cheapest of them all and comes with a 5.2-inch LCD display with 1080x720 pixel resolution, either the Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 or 427 Quad-core 1.4GHz Cortex A53 processors, an Adreno 308 GPU, only 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage, and a small 2800Ah battery.
