The company's Hello Moto slogan is also back

The Hello Moto slogan and the batwing boot logo have been some of the most distinctive marks that helped consumers recognize Motorola phones. As most of you probably know, Motorola was bought by Lenovo two years ago and the company has since been focusing on integrating the unit inside Lenovo's mobile division.

What followed was a rebranding process for the American manufacturer, and Lenovo even announced that it would get rid of the Motorola name and use the Moto branding from now on. The Moto G4 and Moto Z lines were then developed and the boot animation was modified in order to say simply Moto. The batwing logo was still there, but it didn't stand out like before.

However, Moto USA has now revealed that the batwing logo will be kept and posted a video with a marketing campaign to promote the Hello Moto slogan. Motorola first used the Hello Moto tagline in 2002 and it seems that it will be used in future marketing campaigns from now on.

There's a new voice that says the Hello Moto tagline

The Hello Moto slogan was included in most of Motorola's adverts and the company even used it on its official website for a while. Indeed, anyone who has owned a Motorola phone remembers the tagline, as it was one of the most efficient marketing elements out there.

The posted video does reveal two interesting elements. Firstly, there's a new female voice that says "Hello Moto" and seems to have a Chinese accent, which would make sense considering that Lenovo is based in China.

Secondly, at the end of the video, the Motorola batwing logo seems to be punched out of the view and replaced by Lenovo's logo. It's a funny animation suggesting that Lenovo is now in control.

The post does not mention which Motorola phones will be receiving the batwing boot logo and the Hello Moto slogan, but chances are they would arrive to current Moto Z smartphones, announced earlier this year.
