American multinational telecommunications company, Motorola is promoting its upcoming Moto G 4th generation on its Indian Twitter Account. The company is attempting to draw attention to the latest item in its entry-level smartphone series, set to be unveiled on May 17.

Motorola posted several images that hint on some of the specs that we can expect to see in the smartphone, that’s only two weeks away from being launched. Snapshots of the device have yet to be revealed, but the company is heavily promoting the Moto G with slogans and catchphrases.

The promotional campaign is centered on photos showing users experiencing various smartphone-related issues. Presumably, the Motorola Moto G aims at solving these issues and providing an enhanced experience to its users.

As stated, the Moto G 4th generation will come with a better camera, longer battery life, improved device security and chipset, compared to the 3rd generation. Recently, a video featuring the device was leaked online, and it provided a clear image on its design.

Rumors say Moto G will have a larger display and resolution

Recent leaks have offered some insight on the device configuration. There is talk that Moto G will have a 5.5-inch display with resolution of 1080 x1920 pixels and octa-core processor with 2GB of RAM. It’s a considerable improvement, taking into account that the previous generation had a smaller screen of just 5.0 inches and only 720 x 1280 pixels, when it came to resolution.

It remains to be seen what improvements Motorola will implement in the Moto G in terms of camera performance, but it’s expected to be higher than its predecessor’s 13MP rear and 5MP front camera.

A fingerprint reader will be incorporated under the case, as well as 16GB storage with the option to expand to more using a microSD card.

Snapdragon 410 powered the 3rd generation Moto G, which came with Android Lollipop 5.1.1 at the time of its launch in July 2015. The upcoming Moto G is expected to have Marshmallow 6.0.1 right out of the box.
