June is surely a busy month for Motorola, considering that the company is planning to announce two new smartphones. Motorola has already started sending invites to an event scheduled on June 27 and the company might announce the new Moto Z2 then, according to a report.

The teaser features the tagline “Motorola is back” and has the company’s branding, together with the June 27, 2017 date and the hour 19:00. It also says “Please save the date and wait for updates.” Moreover, the invite reveals the back panel of what appears to be the Moto Z2 with a dual-camera setup on the back.

The design of the Moto Z series is quite recognizable with the circular camera system on the back and the M logo underneath. The June 27 event could host the unveiling of the Moto Z2 or Moto Z2 Force, considering that Motorola has another event scheduled on June 21.

In addition, the Moto X4 is expected to arrive after new phones in the Moto Z2 line are announced, possibly on June 30. Considering that the company already unveiled the Moto Z2 Play at the start of the month, June is most certainly a very busy month for Motorola.

That being said, the Moto Z2 is expected to feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 platform, together with 4GB or 6GB of RAM and a high-resolution display of 5.5 inches. It will most likely run Android Nougat out of the box, same as the Moto Z2 Force.

In addition, the phone will come with support for Moto Mods, which means that it will have connector pins incorporated at the bottom of the rear panel. As such, the upcoming Moto X4 will be a mid-ranger with IP68 certification and metal body, as well as a 5.2-inch Full HD display and 4GB of RAM. It will come with 32GB or 64GB of internal storage and feature two 13MP sensors on the back. Battery capacity is tipped to reach 3,800mAh.
