14 DAY TRIAL // As expected, Motorola has announced the upcoming availability of Moto X Style in India. The smartphone will be exclusively available in the country via major retailer Flipkart.
Customers will be able to purchase the Moto X Style (16GB) from October 14 for Rs 29,999 ($460 / €410) outright. The 32GB model will be available as well, but customers will have to come up with Rs 31,999 ($490 / €435) if they want to get this one.
In order to make the handset more appealing to customers, Motorola has also introduced some launch offers, which are valid until October 20, including an exchange offer up to Rs 15,000 ($230 / €205).
Other launch offers include 100% cash-back for 100 customers, Rs 5,000 ($75 / €70) off international holidays for MakeMyTrip customers, and Flipkart electronic gift vouchers worth Rs 1,000 ($15 / €13.5).
It will be available in both black and white colors
The Moto X Style ships with Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system right out of the box, but it's likely to receive an upgrade to Android 6.0 Marshmallow in the next couple of months.
The device is equipped with a powerful 1.8GHz hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, an Adreno 418 graphics processing unit, and 3GB of RAM.
As mentioned earlier, it comes in 16GB or 32GB, but a 64GB model is available in other countries as well. The Moto X Style features microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 128GB), as well as a 5-megapixel selfies camera on the front.
On the back, the smartphone features a 21-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus, dual-tone LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, and 4K video recording.
It also offers 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, microUSB 2.0, GPS with AGPS support, Bluetooth 4.1, and NFC (Near Field Communication) connectivity options.
It's also worth mentioning the Moto X Style is powered by a 3,000mAh battery, and comes with quick charging technology and Motorola TurboPower 25 charger bundled in the sales package.
