The Moto G5 and its bigger brother, the Moto G5 Plus, are likely to make their debut at Mobile World Congress (MWC) in about two weeks from now. However, we've learned quite a lot of things about these mid-range smartphones thanks to all the leaks in the last couple of days.

Two days ago a picture showing the upper part of the Moto G5 Plus' display leaked online, and now we have another snapshot of the back side of the phone. The good news is the picture reveals the entire back cover of the phone, not just a part of it.

Aside from the standard Motorola logo, you can notice the circular main camera featuring a dual-LED flash. Although the material looks like metal, the Moto G5 Plus is likely to be made of plastic like many of Motorola's mid-range smartphones.

Based on previous rumors, the Moto G5 Plus is expected to pack a more than decent 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, coupled with either 3GB or 4GB of RAM. The phone is said to pack 32GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.

A true mid-range Android smartphone that doesn't stand out

The 5.2-inch display supports full HD (1080p) resolution, while the 12-megapixel camera on the back features laser autofocus and a Sony IMX362 image sensor.

Also, rumors suggest the Moto G5 Plus' main camera benefits from PDAF (phase detection autofocus) capabilities, as well as 4K video recording and f/1.7 aperture.

The mid-range handset has a secondary 5-megapixel camera in the front, which packs an OmniVision OV5695 image sensor, and features f/2.2 aperture.

The Moto G5 Plus will be powered by a 3,000 mAh battery with Turbo charging, and should include a fingerprint scanner on the front. Hybrid dual-SIM support might be included too, along with NFC (Near Field Communication), 4G LTE and Android 7.0 Nougat.
