Great news for Android fans, as the Moto G5, the mid-range smartphone unveiled by Lenovo last month, is already available for purchase in some parts of Europe.

According to GSMHelpDesk, at least three Dutch retailers are now taking orders for the Moto G5: Belsimpel, GSMwijzer and Mobiel. Customers who wish to buy the phone will have to come up with €200, which isn't much considering the phone's hardware configuration.

The Moto G5 is already available for pre-order in other European countries like Germany and Russia, but it will also make its debut in India on March 15.

We expect the mid-range handset to hit the shelves in more European countries in the coming days, so you might want to check with your favorite local retailer if you're looking to buy the Moto G5.

If you live in the Netherlands, you'll be pleased to know that most of the retailers selling the Moto G5 offer great deals to those who prefer to purchase it with a carrier contract.

The next best mid-range smartphone coming from Motorola, the Moto G5 Plus, won't be available in Europe until early April. However, the Moto G5 Plus will cost slightly more, as customers will have to pay €290 to buy it.

The unlocked Moto G5 offers great value for the money. It ships with Android 7.0 Nougat right out of the box and packs a decent Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor inside.

Hardware-wise, the phone features 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. Also, the Moto G5 sports a 5-inch display with HD (720p) resolution.

Photographers will be pleased to know the mid-range handset packs a 13-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash and video recording, as well as a secondary 5-megapixel selfie camera. The Moto G5 is powered by a 2,800 mAh battery with fast charging technology.
