The Moto G (2015) is one of Motorola's upcoming affordable Android smartphones, but it won't be the only device the US-based company plans to launch in the coming weeks.

While the first press renders of the smartphones have already been leaked online, only part of its specs sheet surfaced ahead of its official unveil.

According to the latest rumors, the Moto G (2015) will make its debut on the market sometime in August. The information comes via a Chilean major carrier that has the Moto G (2015) on its list of upcoming devices.

However, it looks like Motorola plans to launch the Moto G (2015) much earlier in other regions. The folks over at GSMArena report that the smartphone will be unveiled in Brazil as early as July 28 and it might go on sale on the same day.

Although the Moto G (2015) has been priced at $285 (€260) in Brazil, it's common fact that smartphones are more expensive than in most other regions, so we expect the device to be available for much less in other countries.

Along with information about the phone's upcoming availability, details about the phone's specs were leaked as well.

1GB RAM and 8GB storage, or 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory

First of all, it appears that Motorola plans to launch two Moto G (2015) models. The cheaper model will come with 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal memory, while the most expensive version will pack 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. Both models will come with microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

The rest of the specs are common for both Moto G (2015) versions, so expect them to come with a 5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution, as well as 2,470 mAh battery.

On the inside, the Moto G (2015) will be equipped with a 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor and an Adreno 306 graphics processing unit.

It will also come with a 13-megapixel photo snapper on the back, along with a 5-megapixel selfie camera in the front.

Surprisingly, the Moto G (2015) will be IPx7-certified, which means it will be water resistant up to 1m for up to 30 minutes.
