US-based handset maker has recently started to send invitations to an event that will take place on July 28. The event will be held in three cities at the same time: NYC, London and Sao Paulo.

The invitation, as presented by Droid-Life, mentions that “Your relationship status is about to change.” The tagline is followed by an “XOX, Moto,” which might be a hint at one or more devices to be announced later this month.

The new announcement is in line with the latest rumors that pointed July 28 as the date when Moto G (3rd Gen) and Moto X (3rd Gen) will be unveiled.

More details on the event are mentioned in the invite, but they are just a teaser for the new smartphones that Motorola plans to launch in July and do not contain any spoilers when it comes to specs.

“We feel lost without it. We trust them with out most personal questions, photos, stories and secrets. They never leave our side. But shouldn't all that care and devotion you show be returned? A better mobile relationship is on its way,” says Motorola.

Moto G (3rd Gen) specs look pretty decent

For those out of the loop, here is a quick rundown of the next-generation Moto G specs, one of the smartphones that are supposedly being unveiled on July 28.

The Moto G (3rd Gen) will sport a 5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution, as well as 2,470 mAh battery.

The phone is said to be powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor and an Adreno 306 graphics processing unit. They will be paired with 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card slot.

It will also come with a 13-megapixel photo snapper on the back, along with a 5-megapixel selfie camera in the front. Also, rumor has it that the Moto G (2015) will be IPx7-certified, which means it will be water resistant up to 1m for up to 30 minutes.
