Motorola announced the Moto M last year in November and the mid-ranger did have some rather appealing specs. The smartphone didn’t come with Android Nougat out of the box, but it did have 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory.

Motorola’s Moto M runs an octa-core MediaTek MT6755 Helio P15 processor and offers users the option to add up to 256GB of internal memory using a microSD card. The processor is actually a Helio P15 in India and the SoC is coupled with Mali-T860MP2 graphics processing unit.

Moreover, it has a 16MP rear camera with phase-detection autofocus, optical image stabilization and 4K video recording. The rear camera has f/2.0 aperture and a LED flash. Front camera capacity reaches 8MP, sufficient for snapping selfies and conducting video calls.

USB Type-C and 3,060mAh battery with fast charging

The phone draws power from a 3,060mAh battery with Turbo Charge technology for charging the phone fully in less time. The battery is non-removable and the smartphone comes in three available colors, Gold, Gray and Silver. It runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box and should receive a software update to Android 7.0 Nougat soon enough.

Moto M has USB Type-C port on the bottom side and a fingerprint sensor on its back panel. The smartphone comes with a 5.5-inch display with full HD resolution and has an all-metal unibody design. It’s protected against splashes and rain, but that doesn’t mean that it should be fully submerged in water.

Moto M was made available in some European countries last month and now Motorola Fans have announced on Twitter that the phone will be sold in more markets. Specifically, Moto M is now available in China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Poland, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Thailand, the United Arab Emirates and Ukraine. The price should be somewhere around €279 or $290, depending on the country.
