Motorola is rumored to unveil the new Moto G5 Plus this March and some images of the smartphone have already leaked online. It appears that a press image of the new Moto G5 Plus has also leaked online, confirming the design elements spotted in previous leaks.

The press image was posted on Chinese social network Weibo (via Techdroider), but the picture is a bit blurry. Still, it’s enough to confirm previous images, showing the new Moto G5 Plus in a silver color variant and with a single rear camera. The phone’s design is similar to that of the Moto X, which could be announced later this year.

The Moto G5 Plus was recently spotted on Romanian online marketplace OLX, where a user sold the phone for the price of $387. This won’t be the final price of the handset, although the G5 Plus’ recommended retail price (MSRP) could be set around this sum.

Moto G5 Plus could have 4GB of RAM and SD625 SoC

It’s worth mentioning that the OLX user actually sold a Moto G5 Plus prototype intended for testing purposes, since the mark on the display read that the phone was not for sale.

Rumors regarding the Moto G5 Plus, codename XT1685, point to a 5.5-inch display with 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution and Snapdragon 625 chipset inside with an octa-core CPU clocked at 2.0GHz and Adreno 506 graphics processing unit inside.

The smartphone might come with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, as well as a 13MP camera on the back and a 5MP shooter in the front for capturing selfies and conducting video calls. Moreover, it will have a fingerprint scanner embedded in the front button and a 3,080mAh battery to keep the phone’s lights on.

The Moto G5 Plus could be announced sometime in March and is expected to run Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.
