The development team at NetherRealm Studios plans to launch the Predator downloadable content pack for Mortal Kombat X towards the end of July, but the character seems to have briefly appeared in the Tower mode of the game and some players have quickly obtained more details about him.

Two videos from the community are showing both the fatality that the character will employ when he defeats an enemy and some gameplay that features his moves.

The Predator continues a long tradition for the series to integrate movie characters, which are often designed to be a little overpowered when compared to regulars of the series.

Mortal Kombat X was launched in April of this year, and the development team says that it wants to sustain it in the long term with new DLC.

Jason Vorhees is also offered as a guest character for the fighting game, and in the future, players will also get access to Tremor.

Mortal Kombat X was designed to use the classic mechanics of the series while also introducing more options for environment interactions and expanding the story mode.

NetherRealm has not yet said whether it plans to work on a sequel in the coming years or if there are plans to try and deliver a fighting game focused on another group of characters.
