Nokia 6 was announced earlier this month and made available only in China, exclusively at retailer JD.com. The smartphone was subject to two flash sales with over 1 million registrations, although only a few tens of thousands of units were actually sold.

The first Nokia 6 flash sale in China lasted for about a minute, as customers bought all available Nokia 6 phones in just 60 seconds. There’s no doubt that Nokia 6 is very appealing to the market, despite the fact that it incorporates mid-range specs.

HMD Global, the company manufacturing Nokia 6 smartphones didn’t say if and when the phone will be released in other markets. A few days ago, a white variant of the Nokia 6 was unofficially available for purchase in the Philippines, but the company stated that there was no white variant for the Nokia 6 and that the phone wasn’t launched internationally.

Nokia 6 could arrive to Germany soon

Reputable leakster Roland Quandt has recently revealed on Twitter that Germany’s MobiCom is interested in partnering with HMD Global, in order to bring Nokia 6 to Germany in the coming months. Nokia 150, the feature smartphone that was announced last year, is already available in Germany. MobiCom has yet to confirm the information, but if the Nokia 6 is sold in Germany, then it should make it to other European countries as well.

Nokia 6 is sold for $245 in China and comes with a 5.5-inch display with 1080p resolution and 4GB of RAM. The smartphone runs a Snapdragon 430 SoC with an octa-core 1.4GHz CPU and Adreno 505 graphics processing unit. It has 64GB of internal storage and 3,000mAh battery, a 3.5mm headphone jack and dual-SIM support. The phone has a rear camera of 16MP and an 8MP camera in the front, while running Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.
