PS4, PS3, PS Vita, Xbox One & 360 versions are updated

Minecraft console developer 4J Studios has just rolled out a brand new patch for the popular game across Xbox 360, in the form of Title Update 28, Xbox One, with Content Update 16, and PS4, PS3, and PS Vita, in the shape of update 1.19. A myriad of bug fixes are included for each version of the game.

Minecraft has tens of millions of loyal fans on the PC platform but the title really took off in terms of popularity when it reached consoles like the PS4, PS3, PS Vita, Xbox One, or Xbox 360. On these devices, millions of other players joined in on the action.

Developer 4J Studios has kept all the console versions of the game updated with plenty of new features and lots of bug fixes.

A new update is available across console platforms

Now, the studio confirms that it's rolling out a fresh patch for the game's console version, bringing more bug fixes and improvements, not to mention optimized water rendering to make things look a bit better.

Xbox 360 owners will soon be met with a prompt to download Title Update 28 for their version of Minecraft, while Xbox One users will be notified that Content Update 16 is available for download via the Xbox Live online service.

Across PS4, PS3, and PS Vita, patch 1.19 is now live and can be transferred by Minecraft owners through the PlayStation Network.

As mentioned above, there are plenty of fixes for various issues that were reported by players, including a solution to the instability caused by adding or removing players from a game. Errors and visual glitches have also been remedied by the update, while the water rendering should be much more stable after installing it.

On the PS4, PS3, and PS Vita platforms, the update also includes support for the new Star Wars Classic and Rebels skin packs, which should be available for purchase via the PS Store later today all around the world.
