Windows 10 is an operating system that’s supposed to address the needs of all users, so you can install it for a wide variety of tasks, including working, browsing, entertainment, and gaming.

And as far as the last part is concerned, Microsoft is now working to make gaming in Windows 10 truly addictive, so the company is launching a dedicated forum to receive feedback from those who install the operating system to play games.

Gaming feedback forum

In an announcement released today, Gabe Aul, chief of the Windows Insider program, explains that not only Microsoft will read the feedback gamers submit but partners will do so too, in order to further improve their products and software for Windows 10 for better performance.

“In addition to our regular forum support staff, we’ll have engineers with gaming expertise on standby to assist in these forums, as well as some support staff from our partners, such as Intel, AMD, and NVIDIA, so feel free to stop by these new areas of the forum and let us know how you’re feeling about your gaming experience on Windows 10,” Aul has stated today.

Right now, the forum is only aimed at those who use preview builds of Windows 10, so if you run the RTM version of the operating system and have feedback on gaming, you can turn to the regular Community forums to send it to Microsoft.

The Windows Insider program continues with feedback in mind, so this kind of efforts clearly comes in handy to both users and Microsoft. The company’s already working on the first big update for Windows 10, expected in October or November, so the upcoming release could also include improvements supposed to make gaming better on devices running the new operating system.

In the meantime, cumulative updates released to Windows 10 PCs also include enhancements in these regard, but without change logs, it’s really difficult to tell exactly what these enhancements are supposed to do.
