New options and improvements have been added too

After removing all the free storage for its OneDrive cloud service, Microsoft has taken the first steps to redesign the Windows Phone application so that it matches the new Windows 10 Mobile design layout.

The latest update to OneDrive for Windows 10 Mobile brings many visual changes that might or might not appeal to users.

As NPU points out, the most obvious one is the Hamburger Menu, which now features a different design. With a revamped look, OneDrive's menu is supposed to be easier to access and more intuitive.

But that's not all, as the progress option now features text along with an icon in the Menu. Also, the Settings option has moved to the bottom.

Some changes might not be so visible

OneDrive users will notice that there are a few more options in the Menu as compared to before, like Recent documents. Last but not least, there's a new option on the settings page that you can use: Additional Device sign-in.

More changes might have been implemented in this version, but this is everything we've been made aware of, so if you find additional improvements, don't hesitate to let us know in the comments section.

Moving on to the iOS version of OneDrive, Microsoft has announced that the latest iteration comes with 3D Touch support, which allows users to quickly get to their most recent files from the OneDrive icon on the home screen.

Also, developers have added Microsoft Intune mobile application management support, and by popular demand, “scoped folder search for your personal OneDrive account.”

You can now download OneDrive for Windows 10 Mobile for free via Windows Store. The application is fully compatible with all devices running Windows 10 Mobile and up.

For iOS users, the application can be downloaded for free via App Store. It should work smoothly on all devices running iOS 8.0 or newer.
