Microsoft is preparing a new Windows 10 advertising push in Europe, with the company investing millions of Euros in this new effort as it plans to target users in both the online and offline worlds.

According to a report from German website WindowsUnited, the campaign was created together with Intel, and it is scheduled to go live on November 7 and run through December 17. It will include ads that will be aired on German TV channels, but also online and on social media websites.

Microsoft is focusing all of its efforts in this new campaign on two different advertisements that are specifically aimed at businesses, as they present two entrepreneurs that use Windows 10 devices for a variety of tasks. The HP Specter x360 and the Surface Pro 4 are both highlighted in these ads, which you can watch in full at the end of the article.

Windows 10 running on 1 in 3 PCs in Europe

According to third-party data provided by StatCounter, Windows 10 is running on 29.91 percent of computers on the Old Continent, very close to Windows 7, which leads the charts with 35.09 percent.

But while Windows 10 is doing pretty well in the consumer market, not the same thing can be said about enterprise, where the operating system is still in piloting stage, and some large companies are only now evaluating the upgrade.

Microsoft is clearly trying to show Europeans the advantages of using Windows 10 for their businesses, putting the emphasis not only on the operating system but also on the hardware and devices that make it possible to use all the features.

It remains to be seen if the new ad campaign will be successful or not, but readers who live in Europe should get ready for a new advertising push from Microsoft that should bring Windows 10 anywhere they look, both online and offline.
