14 DAY TRIAL // Microsoft unveiled its “ultimate laptop” Surface Book in early October and started sales later the same month, but those who really want the “ultimate experience” can only now get it.
The company has started sales of a special version of the device that comes with an i7 CPU and 1TB of storage space, which is currently the most powerful combination in the entire lineup. This version costs $3,199 (€2,950), but pricing across the world will vary depending on taxes.
The specs are exactly the same as on the other models, so you also get 16GB of RAM, a Surface Pen, a dedicated NVIDIA graphics card, but for the moment, Microsoft says that only customers in the United States and Canada can purchase them (there are plans to launch them in other markets in the next months, though).
Also today, Microsoft has launched the most powerful Surface Pro 4 version on the market, again with 1TB of storage space and 16GB of RAM. Pricing for this version is $2,699 (€2,250).
A special edition Surface Pen
And because the Surface is not a Surface without the Surface Pen, the software giant has also debuted the gold version of the accessory in a series of markets, including Canada, Denmark, Finland, Italy, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, and the United States.

The gold version costs $59.99 (€50) and also comes with a Pen Tip Kit, which is worth an additional $10.
