The update does not feature an official changelog yet

Microsoft has been very busy these days with the release of Windows 10, but it looks like Windows Phone users have been offered a nice surprise as well.

Beginning this week, Microsoft has started the rollout of a new update for Windows 10 Mobile Technical Preview, which means that if you're a Windows Insider, chances are you will be getting it too.

The problem is the Redmond-based company did not offer any details on the changes included in this update, WindowsCentral reports.

The latest Windows 10 Mobile Technical Preview update does not come with an official changelog attached to it, but at least we know it's aimed at developers.

Why we know that? Since the only thing the update mentions is “Developer enhancements,” it makes sense to assume that it only brings under-the-hood changes aimed at those who create apps and games for Windows Phone.

It's also worth mentioning that this is not a new Windows 10 Mobile Technical Preview build, but a small update that brings specific changes that have not been unveiled yet.

Enable Developer Mode for better chances to get the update

Also, there are reports that not everyone received this developer enhancements update, so it's either the update is pushed in waves or Microsoft will only make it available to a limited number of Windows Insiders.

In order to try and get the update, you should enable Developer Mode by going to Settings / Update / For Developers. There are higher chances to get the update by enabling this mode, otherwise you won't be getting it at all.

This is another indication that there are no major changes for standard users and that developers are the only target of this update. So, if you are one of those not so many Windows Phone developers, you might try to get this update on your smartphone.
