If you did a factory reset after installing build 10581, the new build will cause your phone to go into a reboot loop

Great news for Windows Insiders, as Microsoft has just released Windows 10 Mobile build 10586 in Fast ring. The new version comes with many important bug fixes and small improvements, but don't expect any new features.

Since we have already covered all the new things that Windows Insiders will get in build 10586, let's take a look at all the known issues Microsoft confirmed to be part of this version of Windows 10 Mobile.

First of all, the most annoying would be the fact that if you plan to upgrade from Windows 10 Mobile build 10581 and have done a factory reset to your phone, then your device will go into a reboot loop after upgrading.

Silverlight apps through Visual Studio still not working

If that happens to you, the only thing you can do is recover your phone using the hardware key combination to reset your phone or use Windows Device Recover Tool to go back to Windows Phone 8.1 and then upgrade to build 10586.

Also, make sure you do a backup of your phone's information before upgrading to build 10586 due to this “reboot loop” issue that hasn't been addressed yet.

Another known issue still present in this build refers to Silverlight apps. It looks like deploying this type of apps through Visual Studio to the phone won't work in this build.

However, Microsoft claims that the issue will be fixed with the release of Visual Studio 2015 Update 1 on November 30.

Last but not least, there's also a known issue where the tile for Insider Hub remains under All apps but doesn't open. That's because Insider Hub isn't part of Windows 10 Mobile build 10586, so there is no way to get it back for the moment.

The good news is Insider Hub will return in a future build, so until then make sure to use it on the PC as a workaround.
