New ISOs for build 16232 available for Windows insiders

Microsoft has released new Windows 10 ISO images for Windows insiders who want to start fresh, though they don’t install the latest version available for the Fast ring.

The new ISO images are for build 16232, which was rolled out to the Slow ring last week, so anyone who wants to clean-install Windows 10 and be fully up-to-date will need to perform one last update to build 16237 after installing the operating system with the ISO.

Microsoft typically releases new Windows 10 ISO after shipping a specific build to the Slow ring, as this is the moment when the company considers a build to be less buggy and stable enough for more testers. This time, more checks were needed before making ISO images available, but anyone can download them starting now.

5 different SKUs up for grabs

As it happened before, there are 5 different versions available for download, each with 32- and 64-bit images: Windows 10 Insider Preview, Windows 10 Insider Preview Enterprise, Windows 10 Insider Preview Education, Windows 10 Insider Preview Home Single Language, and Windows 10 Insider Preview Home China. All are for build 16232, but if you wish, images for build 16193 continue to be up for grabs until new ISOs are published.

In case you’re wondering if it’s worth trying this build of Windows 10, there’s no doubt it is, as it comes with a long series of improvements, including Microsoft Edge refinements, improved My People, emoji tweaks with a new picker, a revised touch keyboard and so much more.

These images also come in handy for users who want to try out the new Windows 10 build with a virtual machine, though those more tech-savvy use to build their own ISOs using the ESD files that Microsoft ships when publishing new builds.

As for new builds aimed at the Fast ring, Microsoft could ship a new one today or tomorrow, as Friday is the day when the company starts the last Bug Bash before the Falls Creators Update launch.
