14 DAY TRIAL // Android and iOS users are lucky once again since Microsoft has just released the new Halo Channel application for these particular two platforms.
However, Microsoft users haven't been left out, it's just that they will need to wait a while longer until the application makes its debut on their favorite platform.
Microsoft already confirmed that Halo Channel will be available on Windows 10 Mobile at launch, which means it is likely to arrive sometime this fall.
The Halo Channel allows users to experience award winning original Halo programming, some of the best in community-created content, as well as the possibility to access deep background information about the Halo universe and story.

All of the above has been wrapped up in a “custom-designed and personalized digital network” that should keep users entertained for quite a while, especially if they are Halo fans.
However, if you were expecting to get some Halo games within the app, then you will be disappointed since the Halo Channel only provides users with videos, lots of them.
According to Microsoft, the application means to “improve your Halo experience with award-winning original programming – including compelling additions to the Halo fiction and exclusive behind the scenes documentaries – as well as game-focused content such as competitive multiplayer strategies straight from pro players, tips and tricks to tackle everything from challenging campaign walkthroughs to record-breaking speed runs, and much more.”
If the app sparked your interest, then you can now download Halo Channel for Android for free via Google Play Store. The application should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Android 4.4 and up.
For iOS users, the application is available for free download via App Store. It should work smoothly on all devices running iOS 7.1 or later.
