Microsoft has released a new build, this time exclusively for mobile users in the Fast ring, but it’s not exactly what you’d normally expect as all it includes is a single bugfix.

Windows 10 Mobile build 15063.2 is only supposed to improve the upgrade experience from the Anniversary Update to the Creators Update.

“We have released Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 15063.2 for Mobile to Windows Insiders in the Fast ring. This build includes a single fix to enable the ability to update to Build 15063 from the Windows 10 Anniversary Update (Build 14393) on Windows phones,” Dona Sarkar, head of the Windows Insider program, said.

Smartphones running Windows 10 are also projected to receive the Creators Update, but Microsoft recently told us that upgrading PCs is a priority, with mobile devices to receive it at a later time. No ETA was provided, but we’re hearing that the rollout of the Creators Update is projected to complete by the end of May, so Windows 10 Mobile users shouldn’t wait too long to get the latest improvements.

Windows 10 build 15063 is RTM

Today’s release is another sign that Windows 10 build 15063 is indeed the RTM version of the Creators Update on both PC and mobile, even though Microsoft obviously remains tight-lipped on this.

The Creators Update rollout is projected to begin on April 11, according to rumors that are yet to be confirmed, but PC users can already download and install it with the Windows 10 Update Assistant provided by Microsoft itself.

More improvements for PC and mobile should land on Creators Update launch day, as Microsoft is currently working on fixing the last-minute bugs reported by users, so a cumulative update is very likely to ship when retail users are allowed to download the new OS release. This totally makes sense given that April 11 is also Patch Tuesday, so it’s going to be a very busy day for Microsoft and its users.
