Even though Microsoft has cut the number of Lumias to be launched on the market this year to just three, there will be many more coming in 2016.

Besides the new Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL flagship smartphones and Lumia 550, the most affordable handset with Windows 10 Mobile, Microsoft plans to launch a few more mid-range phones.

There were many rumors a few months ago that claimed Microsoft canceled some mid-range Windows 10 smartphones and decided to focus on entry-level and high-end range.

The Lumia 650, Lumia 750 and Lumia 850 are three of the smartphones that were thought to have been canceled by Microsoft.

Not long ago, more reports suggested that the Lumia 650 was still on track for release, but the phone wouldn't be unveiled until the next year.

Lumia 830's successor might be in the pipeline as well

Today, we have information about another mid-range smartphone powered by Windows 10 Mobile right out of the box, the Lumia 750.

According to NPU, Microsoft is already testing the Lumia 750 in India, but the phone might not be ready for an official release until late December or early January.

The smartphone has been spotted at Zauba, the Indian import-export entity, though there's no name attached to it for the time being. The country of origin, Finland, makes us believe that this is indeed another Lumia smartphone that hasn't been announced yet.

Unfortunately, there are no additional details on the Lumia 750's specs available at Zauba, but we expect more information to leak in the coming weeks.

We also expect more Lumia phones to be announced by Microsoft in Q1 2016. The Lumia 650 and Lumia 850 smartphone are still on the table, especially that the company has already confirmed that more devices with iris recognition scanner (Windows Hello) will arrive soon.
