Lumia 635 is Microsoft’s most popular phone in the United States, and because so many users are interested in it, Best Buy is running a special promo for the phone that makes it a lot more affordable than the full price offered at the official Microsoft stores.

Best Buy sells the Lumia 635 for only $49.99 without a contract in the United States, but the only catch is that it’s locked to T-Mobile. Basically, this means that the Lumia 635 is $30 more affordable thanks to this promo, so this is quite the best moment to buy it, especially if you’re on T-Mobile.

Lumia 635 has become one of the most discounted Windows Phone devices in the last few months because several other price cuts have recently been announced at various stores, so if you’re willing to wait a little bit longer, an even bigger discount might show up.

For instance, Walmart was selling the black version of Lumia 635 for only $29 in the United States, but locked on AT&T, and this was pretty much the lowest price it had since launch.

Lumia 635 technical specs

On paper, Lumia 635 is quite a decent device that’s clearly worth the 50 bucks you might have to pay for it, if you want to take advantage of this new promo.

The device comes with a 4.5-inch IPS LCD screen with Gorilla Glass 3 protection, a Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, 512 MB of RAM, 8 GB of internal storage, a 5-megapixel rear camera, 4G LTE support, and microSD support for up to 128 GB additional storage space.

Lumia 635 will be one of the devices getting the Windows 10 treatment despite the fact that it has only 512 MB of RAM, but some features will be missing from the phone when upgraded to the new OS. Microsoft is yet to detail what are the features that will be skipped, but there’s no doubt that a 1 GB RAM device would be much better on Windows 10 Mobile.
