The Windows 10 Mobile Creators Update rollout officially started a few minutes ago, but just like we’ve told you before, only 13 models are getting it following a controversial Microsoft decision that was announced earlier this month.

And according to data collected by AdDuplex, this means that only 60.8 percent of the Windows 10 Mobile phones out there are listed as supported for the Creators Update, which means that no less than 39.2 percent of the devices are stuck with the previous version.

At this point, Microsoft Lumia 640 is the number one Windows 10 Mobile device on the market with a share of 13.3 percent, followed by Lumia 550 and Lumia 535. The 640 XL is also close with 11.3 percent, while the 950 is next with 7.7 percent.

AdDuplex says that 4 out of 10 top phones aren’t getting the Creators Update, so their only option is to either revert to the stable version of the Anniversary Update or stick with the existing Creators Update preview builds which are running just fine anyway.

It’s because of your feedback

Microsoft says that leaving some Windows phones behind is a decision that had to be made because of the feedback received from users participating in the Windows Insider program.

“We looked at feedback from our Windows Insiders and realized that we would not be able to provide the best possible experience for our customers on many of these older devices. That helped us determine which devices we support for the Windows 10 Creators Update,” the company explained.

The Creators Update is going live in stages for mobile devices, so although the update is now available for some, it could take months until everyone gets it depending on a series of factors like region and carrier.

The Windows 10 Mobile devices that are getting the update to the Creators Update are the following:
