Sprightly is an app that lets you create fliers on a phone

It’s no longer a surprise that Microsoft’s working hard to bring its apps on iOS and Android, and today the company is doing just that by launching a Garage project on the iPhone.

Previously available on Android, the Sprightly app is a small and yet powerful tool that allows users to create fliers, catalogs, price lists, e-cards, and discount coupons straight on their iPhones without the need for any other solutions.

You can thus take photos, import images from the device, choose from a variety of templates and the share your fliers on WhatsApp and Facebook or even send them as PDF documents via email.

Specifically aimed at businesses

Certainly, this could come in handy for businesses that want to create professional-looking projects without the need for a PC, and Microsoft uses the example of Sanjana Shah, a Fanzart franchise owner based in Hyderabad, India, to highlight some of the key features of the app.

“Every image, every catalog would come from the head office, which would take nearly one month for it to get updated,” she was quoted as saying. “I got a call from a client saying she wanted the range of the white fans that we have. I had these pictures in the collection made in Sprightly. I had to park my vehicle on the side of the road just for three minutes and I was done. I just had to put all of them across, make a price list immediately and send it.”

Unfortunately, this app is not yet available for Windows Phone or Windows 10 Mobile, but this is happening with pretty much every Garage project, so it’s kind of expected to find it exclusively on Android and iOS.

With a little luck, Microsoft could release it on its own platforms too in the coming months, but for the moment, Android and iPhone users are the only ones who can download Sprightly.
