14 DAY TRIAL // Microsoft has just released the first beta version of Microsoft Launcher 4.7, as it paves the way for a new major update that’s expected for production devices in the coming weeks.
The new Microsoft Launcher 4.7 beta comes with enhanced support for daily custom background. While Bing integration was already offered, Microsoft now allows daily backgrounds not only from its service, but also from custom photo collections.
This means that you can define a wallpaper folder on your device to be used as phone background, and the launcher automatically switches to a new picture based on a set of user-defined options.
Additionally, this new version of Microsoft Launcher also introduces scrollable wallpapers, as well as more badge notifications options. Version 4.7 essentially enables users to control app notification badges for specific apps and no longer rely on a single rule for all installed apps.
