The new application published by Microsoft Garage is meant to offer Windows Phone users help in finding professional, reliable services.
As mentioned earlier, the application is called Home Team and is available for free. It enables users to get and share word of mouth recommendations for service professionals like plumbers, electricians, stylists, dog walkers, etc.
If you decide to go for a certain service that will take care of your home's design, or your own look, you usually get recommendations from a friend or colleague.
Well, that's what Home Team is supposed to do since it connects directly with friends and colleagues to get those great recommendations.
Get recommendations from trusted sources
Basically, you can directly connect with friends from Facebook, or join a work network to share recommendations with colleagues.
Home Team allows users to manage their team and helps them centralize and manage service providers so they don’t have to dig through their contacts for an electrician they used two years ago.
Also, the application directly connects with people the user trusts to share valuable recommendations for a lawn care specialist, auto mechanic, or fishmonger.
Obviously, users can join a work network to seek out and share the best tax accountant, financial advisor, etc. with their colleagues.
Keep in mind that while the application requires you to create an account, you can also connect through Facebook in order to join that network of friends.
You can now download Home Team for Windows Phone for free via Windows Store. The application should be fully compatible with all devices running Windows Phone 8.1 and up.
