Microsoft’s planning to launch a multi-million dollar advertising campaign for Windows 10 and what better place to start it than its very own Redmond campus?

Microsoft has raised hundreds of Windows 10 banners all over the Redmond campus, including not only on streets and alleys, but also inside buildings. All banners tell pretty much the same thing: Windows 10 is coming and we’re very proud of it, so let’s just all make everyone aware of it.

There are several banners with subtle messages, such as “1985,” which is the year when Microsoft launched the very first Windows versions, so it’s pretty clear that whoever decided to raise these ads in the Redmond campus wanted to make everyone feel proud that they’re working at Microsoft.

As Microsoft’s Brandon LeBlanc wrote on Twitter, elevators have also been covered in Windows 10 banners with the message “pride,” while others feature Xbox ads for upcoming games.

Satya Nadella’s One Microsoft

On the other hands, all these ads also show that Satya Nadella’s vision of One Microsoft is going forward, as the new CEO wants all divisions to work as one and collaborate in a much more effective way to bring all their products closer for a unique experience on all devices and platforms.

“We are a family of individuals united by a single, shared mission. It’s our ability to work together that makes our dreams believable and, ultimately, achievable. We will build on the ideas of others and collaborate across boundaries to bring the best of Microsoft to our customers as one. We are proud to be part of team Microsoft,” he said in a statement last month.

With Windows 10, Nadella’s plan is moving forward and all these banners placed in the Redmond campus will undoubtedly make employees feel proud that they are working for Microsoft.

Now the only thing that’s left is for Windows 10 to be successful.
