14 DAY TRIAL // Microsoft has just confirmed that the Windows 10 Creators Update will launch on April 11 for retail users, with the rollout to take place in stages to “ensure the best possible customer experience.”
April 11 is also the day when Microsoft will release new security updates as part of its monthly Patch Tuesday cycle, so it’ll undoubtedly be one of the busiest days of the year for both the company and its users.
The Windows 10 Creators Update will be released in stages and this means that not everyone will get it at the same time. Some users will see it in Windows Update on day 1, while others will have to wait a little bit longer until the new OS version shows up on their device.
Windows 10 Mobile users getting it at a later time
On the other hand, the bad news for Windows 10 Mobile users is that nobody will get it on April 11, as Microsoft is making the PC a priority. Smartphones will be updated to Creators Update (RS2) at a later time, but an ETA and specifics are not available just yet.
