It's not a secret anymore that Microsoft is working to bring a new flagship phone to the market, this time running Windows 10 Mobile, but specs and looks are actually the big secret that everyone's trying to unravel these days.

In the meantime, skilled designers from all over the world use the existing information to create their own concepts of the upcoming phones, and this is also the case of Colombian designer Moises David Perez Narai.

His concept, which he calls Lumia 940 XL, imagines the Microsoft Cityman, Redmond's phablet that is expected to come with a 5.7-inch display and compete against the likes of iPhone 6 Plus and Samsung Galaxy Note 5 (arriving this fall).

As you can see in the photos in the gallery, the concept adopts a more familiar design for Lumia fans, with the new 940 XL showing somewhat similar looks to the Lumia 930, the current flagship in Microsoft's Windows Phone lineup.

It does come with Windows logo on the back, a 5.7-inch display, and is made of polycarbonate and metal, which should not only make it very durable but also help offer a premium feel.

Alleged specifications

In terms of specifications, the upcoming Lumia 940 XL/950 XL/Cityman will boast a 5.7-inch display with QHD resolution of 2560x1440 pixels, and will be powered by the Snapdragon 810 processor and 3 GB of RAM. There will be a 20-megapixel camera on the back with Zeiss optics, as well as a 5-megapixel unit on the front for selfies and video calls.

A 3300 mAh battery will help you get through the day with no problem at all, and triple LED flash will be there to enhance photo shooting in low-light conditions.

These specs are yet to be confirmed by Microsoft, but more information should be provided very soon, as Redmond is believed to be preparing a dedicated event in late September.
