Windows 10 Mobile is expected to enter the final stage of development in September, before the public launch in October, and Microsoft is now working on the schedule for the upcoming operating system, which will include the debut of some new mobile phones, among which high-end devices.

Both the Cityman and the Talkman, which are believed to be the successors to Lumia 930, are expected to see daylight together with Windows 10 Mobile to serve as pioneers of the new operating system and thus help Microsoft showcase the true capabilities of its updated mobile platform.

And now a statement of @evleaks, who has until now provided us with very accurate details of new Windows phones, reveals that both the Cityman and the Talkman are scheduled to launch in September with the new Windows 10 Mobile.

Such news isn't really surprising because previous reports also pointed to a possible September or October launch date for the two devices, but it turns out that Microsoft might not use IFA 2015 to present the phones. Instead, Redmond might be aiming at its own press event that will be hosted in late September, as compared to IFA, which opens its doors early next month.

Rumored specifications

While there's nothing confirmed so far, the Cityman is expected to be the direct successor to Lumia 930 and come with a 5.2 screen, a Snapdragon 810 processor, 3 GB of RAM, and 32 GB of internal storage. A 20-megapixel camera will also be offered, together with microSD card support for more storage.

The Talkman, on the other hand, will help Microsoft compete against the iPhone 6 Plus and the Samsung Galaxy Note, coming with a 5.7-inch screen, a 3300 mAh battery, and a triple LED flash for high-quality photos in low-light conditions.

Both devices will come with state-of-the-art features, such as an iris scanner, in order to make the most of new Windows features, including Windows Hello biometric authentication tool.
