Microsoft has announced “First League,” a new program that’s created specifically for what Microsoft calls “fans of fans” who now have the chance to try out new devices, get exclusive previews, and be in direct connection with company employees.

While Microsoft doesn’t say it specifically, First League is more like an evolved version of the Windows Inside program, but it provides participants with so much more.

First and foremost, Microsoft says that First League participants are directly connected to Microsoft employees and get “first-hand information” regarding product news and benefit from Skype Calls with the team.

Additionally, users are also getting exclusive device preview and testing, which means that those who are part of the program will be among the first to test and review Windows devices from both Microsoft and partners. And they’ll also get a free Office 365 license during the entire program.

Join events across the world

Furthermore, Microsoft fans in the First League will be invited to fan events across the world, and will get the company’s support to build and advance a career in IT or even at the company.

“You will be able to accelerate your career. Just like many participants of past programs that went on to build a career in IT or directly at Microsoft. We will provide you with all the support you need to get an even better understanding of Microsoft products,” Microsoft says.

And now the bad news. Microsoft says that users need to apply to join the program, but each application will be individually reviewed, and the company will contact everyone to discuss all details. The Terms and Conditions are still in the works right now and do not provide any information, so more details will likely become available when Microsoft officially launches the program.

A Facebook account seems to be mandatory to join the program, but the company could also add support for Microsoft accounts before the public launch.
