Chinese consumer electronics company Meizu is now teasing us on Twitter with the upcoming availability of the Meizu PRO 7 Android-powered smartphone on next week, on July 26, 2017.

The Meizu PRO 7 teasing started a couple of days ago, when Head of Global Marketing at Meizu Ard Boudeling posted the first tweet to suggest that the device is about to be unveiled soon, and, a day later, he posted another tweet with a photo of the Meizu PRO 7 box and the device itself, saying "See you at July 26!"‏.

A few hours later, Meizu officially announced on Twitter that they would unveil the Meizu PRO 7 Android smartphone next Wednesday, on July 26, but did not provide us with any other details about the upcoming device, which comes more than a year after the launch of Meizu PRO 6 in May 2016.

Possible technical specs of the Meizu PRO 7

As Meizu did not offer any technical details to the press about its soon-to-be-unveiled Meizu PRO 7 flagship, we can only rely on rumors to tell you that the device features a 5.2-inch large display with 1080x1920 resolution and approximately 424 PPI pixel density, and secondary e-ink display.

The dual SIM smartphone will be powered by a MediaTek MT6799 Helio X30 Deca-core 2.5 GHz processor, come in two variants, one with 64 GB internal storage and 4 GB RAM and the other with 128 GB internal storage and 6 GB RAM, and will have a 12 MP 4K dual camera on the back, and a secondary 16 MP camera in front.

Connectivity wise, Meizu PRO 7 should come built-in with Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, NFC, USB 3.1 Type-C, and GPS with GLONASS, A-GPS, and BDS support. We already know that it will be available in Black, but Silver, Gold, and Rose Gold variants could also be available after its launch on July 26, 2017.
