One of the few major Chinese handset makers that plan to enter the US market, Meizu, has yet to unveil its flagship smartphone for 2016.

Meizu Pro 6 or Meizu MX6 hasn't been officially introduced, but the Chinese company teased a few things about the upcoming smartphone.

First of all, it looks like the Pro 6 will come with Force Touch technology, the same feature that has been made popular by Apple with the launch of iPhone 6s.

Today, a few concept renders of the unannounced Meizu Pro 6 have been published on the company's official forums and the user that posted them claims that this is what the smartphone might end up looking like.

The device in these concept images shows a curved display with dual edge form factor. The difference between the Galaxy S7 edge's display and this one is the fact that it's stretched over the top and bottom side of the Meizu Pro 6.

The Pro 6 is supposed to use a POLED flexible display made of plastic, but this is just a rumor based on these concept images.

Meizu Pro 6 will replace the current Pro 5 model which comes with either Flyme OS or Ubuntu operating system right out of the box.

A deca-core CPU might be included too

The rest of the phone's specs are still a mystery, but rumors claim Meizu Pro 6 might come with a powerful MediaTek Helio X20 chipset that packs a deca-core processor and a Mali-T880 graphics processing unit.

There's no word on amount of memory, but we expect Meizu to add at least 3 or 4GB of RAM inside, as well as 32GB of storage.

Meizu Pro 6 is expected to go official by May, but it's unclear when it will go on sale. The Chinese company is expected to offer more details on the flagship smartphone as we're getting close to launch date.
