As expected, Chinese company Meizu has just unveiled its new mid-range Android smartphone, the M3 Note. The device has been officially introduced during a dedicated event held in Beijing, China, but we suspect the phone will be made available worldwide through Chinese online retailers.

The sequel to the M2 Note comes with better specs but keeps the same low price. Android fans will be pleased to know that the cheapest version of Meizu M3 Note costs just $125 while the most expensive is priced at $155 outright.

Obviously, the phone might be more expensive outside China, but the final price depends on country. Meizu has announced that M3 Note will be available for purchase in the Mainland on April 11, so if you plan to order one from another country, you should check with Chinese online retailers next week.

Excellent specs for such a low-priced smartphone

Specs-wise, Meizu M3 Note is a pure mid-range handset that features a premium look and feel thanks to the aluminum unibody.

The smartphone sports a decent 5.5-inch full HD (1080p) resolution display, as well as a powerful 64-bit 1.8GHz MediaTek Helio P10 processor.

The M3 Note packs either 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage or 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. It also features a 13-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash, and full HD (1080p) video recording, as well as a secondary 5-megapixel selfie camera.

Both versions of Meizu M3 Note come with massive 4,100 mAh batteries inside, which should provide quite a lot of continuous usage time. The handset includes a fingerprint scanner under the Home button.

It’s also worth mentioning that the M3 Note includes hybrid dual-SIM support, which means that users can add either two SIM cards inside or a SIM and a microSD memory card.

When it comes to software, the M3 Note ships with Meizu’s FlymeOS onboard, but the Chinese company isn’t clear about what version of Android it is based on.
