The cross-eyed cat lives in Scotland, is quite a celebrity

It's been quite a while since the Internet last crowned a new cat overlord. About a day or two if we're not mistaken. Well, worry not, the time has come for yet another coronation ceremony. The feline that will be wearing the crown: Ozzy, the forever hypnotized cat.

Everybody's new favorite cat lives in the city of Perth in Scotland with owners Ian McDougall, 57, and Evelyn McDougall, 61. As for his rise to fame, well, it all happened after it fell from a windowsill, hit his head and ended up cross-eyed.

Ozzy is an adventurous feline

According to his owner, Ozzy, now 8 years old, has tunnel vision. What this means is that he can only see in front of him. Even so, he isn't exactly shy about venturing outdoors to explore the neighborhood.

Brave Ozzy often gets lost on his quests, but that's a risk he's willing to take. Especially considering that the alternative is getting cooked up inside and having to put up with his humans 24/7.

This one time, he walked all the way to a local car show room. Luckily, somebody found him and entrusted him to the Scottish SPCA. A photo of him made it on Facebook, Ian chanced to see it and the family was reunited.

As clumsy as he is navigating the great outdoors, Ozzy has no trouble getting around the house. One can only assume this is because he has grown accustomed to the décor.

“The condition doesn't hinder him in the house, he's used to the house. He can run up and down the corridor,” owner Ian McDougall said in an interview, as cited by Mirror.

His family say he reminds them of Bagheera

If you're familiar with Disney's “The Jungle Book,” Ozzy might strike you as somewhat familiar. That's because he kind of looks like Bagheera, Mowgli's panther friend, when he was hypnotized by Kaa the snake.

Even his owners say so. “He looks like the panther from the Disney movie when you see the eyes.”

Since Ozzy fell from the windowsill as a baby, and 8 years since, his eyes are still crossed, it's likely that he will be left with tunnel vision for the rest of his life.
